Delivery

All of our deliveries feature full online tracking. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can click on this tracking number to view your shipment’s progress.

For deliveries within the EU we ship on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis. This means that all import taxes and duties will be included in the price of the goods in your order so the price you see is the pay.

For deliveries outside the EU we ship on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis so once your order arrives at its destination you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the destination country, in order to release your order from customs. Whilst we cannot advise you what the cost will be as these charges can vary according to country, please feel free to contact Customer Services at hello@dmybydmy.com with any related queries.

Deliveries to the US are on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. This means you may be required to pay import duties and taxes, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. Our courier will contact you with the details of any import charges to be paid. Please be aware that we cannot advise you what the cost will be as these charges can vary according to country. Please contact your local customs office to find out more information.​

Please note: Personal identification may be requested by the courier for custom clearance purposes. For further information please see our Delivery page.

We are unable to deliver to Post Office boxes, apart from in the following countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. For deliveries to the listed countries please insert your PO Box address on the ‘State / County’ line at checkout.

Returns

UK Returns
We offer free UK returns. To obtain a pre-paid postage label please contact Customer Services at hello@dmybydmy.com within 14 days of delivery.

International Returns
We do not currently offer a free International returns service. If you would, however, like to return your order please contact Customer Services at hello@dmybydmy.com within 14 days of delivery and we will be able to assist you in arranging a return.

Once we have received your order, providing that they are returned in an unworn or like-new condition with original packaging, we will process the refund immediately. Funds should be credited to your original payment method within 5-10 working days, depending on the bank. Please note that we are unable to refund original shipping fees and any customs or duty.

UK Returns
We offer free UK returns. To obtain a pre-paid postage label please contact Customer Services at hello@dmybydmy.com within 14 days of delivery.

International Returns
We do not currently offer a free International returns service. If you would, however, like to return your order please contact Customer Services at hello@dmybydmy.com within 14 days of delivery and we will be able to assist you in arranging a return.

Italian Cellulose Acetate
DMY BY DMY sunglasses are crafted from the highest quality cellulose acetate, sourced from the world’s leading supplier in Italy. Cellulose acetate is a plant-based plastic made from natural wood pulp and cotton fibers meaning its hypoallergenic, lightweight and very strong. And unlike petroleum based plastics, cellulose acetate retains its vibrancy over time because its colour is embedded within the material rather than sprayed on top.

Stainless Steel
DMY BY DMY metal frames are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel. Stainless steel is lightweight, flexible, strong and corrosion-resistant offering maximum durability and increased comfortability.

Yes, all of our lenses offer 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays. They are crafted from CR-39, a lightweight polymer which offers an extremely high optical quality, almost as good as glass. In terms of durability, CR-39 is both incredibly scratch and shatter resistant.

We do not currently offer prescription lenses. However, all of our lenses can be replaced with optical.

Maintenance and Repair

Of course, all DMY BY DMY frames have been designed so that they can be easily adjusted to fit you perfectly.

Acetate 
If your acetate frames are too tight or loose, crooked on your face or hurt your ears, your local optician will be able to adjust your sunglasses with a frame-heater. The heat allows the acetate to be manipulated so you’ll be able to get the perfect fit. 

Metal
For metal frames, simply tighten or widen the nose pads. If, over time, the glasses become loose you can tighten the hinge screws with a small screwdriver. Again, these adjustments can be made by your optician.

We recommend regularly cleaning your glasses with soap and water. Avoid the use of any solvents of alcohol. When drying, use the microfibre cloth provided and avoid the use of abrasive cloths as these may damage the lenses. 

Yes, we offer a one year warranty against any material or manufacturing defects from date of delivery with proof of purchase. Please note this warranty does not apply to products that have been altered, personalised or misused. If you feel that your product meets these requirements please contact us at hello@dmybydmy.com explaining all necessary details. We will process the request and if it meets the requirements, replace the sunglasses immediately with a new pair, free of charge.
